Offline reading and private library

The native app implements a private library, reading progress, bookmarks, and downloaded chapters without requiring a Yomira account. Its verified save-location choices are Local Device, which keeps Yomira saves in that app install, and iCloud Drive, when available for the build and device, which stores Yomira saves there for device continuity. Website account availability does not establish native library or progress sync.

• A chapter available through a trusted source
• Enough free device storage for the selected chapters
• Network access while the download is being created

1. Add the title to the private library.
2. Open its chapter list and select only the chapters you need offline.
3. Start the download while connected.
4. Wait for the selected chapter to report a completed local download.
5. Disconnect from the network and open the completed chapter.
6. Read normally; progress is recorded locally first.

To use the verified Apple storage lane, choose Local Device or iCloud Drive under the native save-location settings. Changing locations schedules a move before the core starts again; the app states that library, progress, Source Packs, and offline files are preserved. iCloud Sync can be enabled only when iCloud Drive is active and available.

Completed chapters remain readable without a network round trip. Local Device keeps library state in that app install. When the build and device expose iCloud Drive and the reader selects it, Yomira can keep its save and sync state there for iPhone and iPad continuity. The website account contract does not imply or activate this Apple storage path.

Reconnect before retrying an incomplete download. Check free storage, refresh the source, and retry only the affected chapter. If iCloud Drive is unavailable, keep Local Device selected. Removing or updating a Source Pack or Source Definition must not erase existing library, history, progress, downloads, or bookmarks.

The artwork supports the local library and offline story. It is not a storage meter or live download record.
